Oncoming vehicle managed to strike a stationary vehicle and had more than enough time to react.

Cops are free to do so if it’s safe, the people in the left lane failed to move to the right, luckily oncoming traffic was pulling over, giving way to the cop. Oncoming vehicle that crashed into the cop failed to yield to an emergency vehicle and also failed to drive defensively. The police officer was stopped for a solid 3 seconds.

It’s also important to note that all the drivers and the cop were driving at a low speed also.

I would like to say again, emergency vehicles are allowed to cross over a double solid yellow as long as it’s safe to do so, which in this case it was absolutely safe to do so. You may as well consider the driver intentionally crashes into a stationary vehicle.

The driver should not have a license, they failed to stop for a large vehicle so I doubt they would have stopped for a pedestrian crossing the street, they are a danger to others.
