Oh boy, I sure do love being the first human to settle in what's now England.

I sure hope a dozen languages aren't introduced to this region, thereby making a mishmash of speech that both does and doesn't make any sense.

Doesn't sound like you've got a strong handle on the history of English, mate.

Celtic (First settlers, possibly Iberian)

Latin (Romans)

Proto-German (Saxons)

Proto-Danish (Viking invaders)

French (Normans).

Shakespeare (Bro just made up words, and they stuck around)

I exaggerated a bit, yeah, but pretending that English isn't a mishmash of different languages is just silly.

English isn't a mishmash, it's a German language with a significant amount of latinate vocabulary. That doesn't make it a hybrid, though, its structure is clearly Germanic (not German).

The idea that English is some kind of unique mutt is basically just a meme.

Edit: insulting and then blocking me? What a prick
