It would definitely fix the inability to add any more media files, what are you even talking about?

You think just because they only have 190mb of media when they only have 1gb of free space means they wouldn't add more if they had several hundred more GB of space?

You can add a SD card and he will still be in the same boat of only having 1GB free internal storage. It’s not fixing his problem.

His problem is still there. It’s not fixing anything, it’s not delaying anything. He either needs to do a factory reset or get a new phone.

Usually an end user doesn't want a smaller system for its own sake; usually a smaller system is desirable because a bloated system takes up space that the user would otherwise use for media, documents, and applications; media, documents, and applications don't care whether they live in internal storage or on the SD card

Media take up 190mb and documents take up 10mb. For the third time in this comment chain, Samsung won’t let you move most apps to a SD card outside of some allowing storage allocation for media.

A memory card isn’t going to help him. His internal storage will still be in the same place unless he does a factory reset or manual cache clearance.

A memory card will allow them to store more media. But going by their current usage that doesn’t appear to be a high priority unless they have been backing up to google photos are clearing physical space.

Why are you people hyper focused on photos, videos and audio?
