My son wants to see the Minecraft movie and so I went to look at reviews on Google. I noticed all these repeating reviews and so I made a 2.5 minute screen recording of me scrolling through the reviews and they all appeared to be just copy pasted reviews. This is just a short clip of it. I gave up after a few minutes when it was clear the majority were fabricated. I probably could have scrolled much longer. After about a minute the review text changed but then that one repeated as well. Occasionally there will be a 1 star review but with the same glowing text. The Internet is dead.

A $904 shortage totally defeats the original purpose of the plan. And I've lived here for several years so they have the data.

So one of my coworkers requested a day off, so I switched today with her (about a week ago and they changed it in the system and everything). She called me saying she was sick and was unable to work. By a tragic coincidence, one of our fur babies died suddenly.
This was a group chat with our leadership. I am a supervisor and this chat is full of other supervisors, assistant managers and managers. Grumpy Ass (GA) decided to reply this. I am contemplating going to HR for this. The shift was no longer my responsibility (even though I still attempted to help cover it as a lead), and that is not how you respond to someone who lost a pet so suddenly.
If it had been my shift still, I would have still gone in after taking care of her burial. I would have sucked it up and gone in. However, it is not my responsibility to cover a shift that was no longer mine.
End rant. I have a headache from dealing with this and ensuring my Chinchilla's companion is okay, cleaning their pen thoroughly to ensure no residual waste or diseases, and just grieving in general. This is the first time I've ever lost a pet this way.

Went camping the other day and my completely sealed bag of freeze dried camping food was full of dead moths and cobwebs.
I checked the whole bag to find any openings, nothing. Must’ve happened during the manufacturing process.
Thankfully REI will replace my bag, hopefully my other bags from Peak Refuel don’t have this same problem.

I just bought a power washer off of Amazon with just under a thousand reviews and at 94% 4 and 5 Star reviews. I get it, use it and it's trash. I go to leave a review and low and behold I can't because of too many fake reviews. The reviews dropped to less than 200 with 60% leaving a 1 star. Getting tired of these companies buying reviews.

Sorry if this post doesn’t fit the sub, will remove if that’s the case.
Basically I had gone to the doctor, and while he was doing a physical examination of me, he saw a dark, velvety patch on my neck. And while I didn’t know this at the time, it’s because I have acanthosis nigricans, a skin condition that’s often comorbid with PCOS (polycystic ovary syndrome). The only thing I did know at the time was that it wasn’t dirt, as it couldn’t be washed off.
However, despite the doctor trying (and failing) to scrub the “dirt” off with a wipe, he didn’t seem to make the connection that this was not dirt, but rather a skin condition (even though, again, acanthosis nigricans is common with PCOS, and I already had a PCOS diagnosis, so you’d think he would’ve realized that).
But here’s the infuriating part: after failing to miraculously clean off my skin condition, he looked at me in the eye and said “You got some dirt on your neck. Probably because you’re too fat to be able to scrub it off properly.”
Now, being a young teen at the time, this hurt me pretty badly, even though I knew what he was saying wasn’t true. But, in hindsight, now it just makes me angry, that he not only failed to realize that it’s a skin condition, but that he was saying I’m too fat to clean myself. Some doctors have terrible bedside manners.
TL;DR: Doctor failed to recognize a skin condition that’s common with PCOS, instead assumed that I’m too fat to practice proper hygiene.

Like I get a car is a car but when you sell a used 2016 Honda with 123k miles for $16k it’s like you don’t want to sell the car. This goes for the whole used car market. I’m not a 100% on how the market works but I could understand more if you said hey I got this 2017 Honda with 35-40k miles I want 16k but an almost 8yr old car with almost 130k miles and you want damn near 17k is crazy in my eyes. I’m probably super out of the loop but man these dealerships charging these crazy prices for older cars with high ass mileage is wild work.

Why can’t I just go in to get popcorn? :(
I really want to eat something salty, I’ve been thinking about movie theater popcorn all morning

Coupon is on Bed Bath & Beyond's website.. tried to get a toaster and saw a 20% off coupon. "Cool!" I think to myself...
Come to read the fine print and see that it excludes... Nearly everything? 😅

These cookies are good. But they come in a box, and each cookie comes in a plastic sleeve, and that's wrapped in plastic. If they're afraid of the cookies sticking maybe use wax paper in between.
