I loved the first movie. Second movie was meh. Not really looking forward to any more.

I really wish James Cameron was working on new adventures.

Terminator, Aliens, The Abyss, T2, True Lies, Titanic, Avatar... He's too good for this repetition to be all we get from him for the rest of his career.

James Cameron getting to craft stories in a world of his own creation sounds pretty good to me for a career closer

Avatar made $2.923 billion globally

Avatar 2 made $2.32 billion globally

Cameron reportedly made $445 million off those 2 moves.

Regardless of the views on reddit, these films print money. There isn't a financial incentive to do anything else.

Also Disney is gonna basically give him all the money since this prints money for them. Dude almost never misses.

This is crazy to me! I wasn't big on Avatar 1 (I was 4 when it came out lol) but loved Avatar 2, saw it multiple times in theaters, which is wild bc I only see like 1 movie a year there usually.
