People love to hate these movies but I always have a blast seeing them in the theater and found they hold up pretty well at home too. It’s almost like JC is a good director….

I don't hate the movies. I think they're good at simple entertainment in a big flashy package. I hope everyone agrees with me there. I think the real debate, if one is to happen, is whether or not these movies are worthy of taking up a sizable chunk of Cameron's career. He has always excelled at big entertainment, yet his older movies had a very neat and refreshing "this is for the adults" feel to them. Ultimately Cameron is always going to do what Cameron wants to do. Our opinions are worth shit to him. Yet it's a little like if Michael Jordon quit the Bulls after 2 championships to join the Harlem Globetrotters for 5+ years.
