First one was a classic story of eco love and the flaws of humanity, the second had the exact same themes, but with cooler animation and some more depth with interactions of different communities of people, as well as some cloning ideas, and maybe the possibility that people aren’t all that black/white as with the admiral/military dude and his son.

I’m hoping the third has even more depth on the morality scale. And more cool tech from humanity.

I love what they did with Quaritch in 2, they could have just made him the same cartoonish shithead again, but him seeming genuinely sad at his own death, being afraid of Neytiri, trying to act like he's a new man and his death doesn't bother him, but still wanting to take care of Miles. Just great stuff.
