It was always a choice, save the planet or the economy. Seems we found a way to screw both. Welcome to the beginning of the end.

There isn't going to be "no nature" on Earth until the sun starts expanding and its heat destroys the planet entirely. That'll be 4 billion'ish years from now (estimated).
