Can we just ban all posts from r/untrustworthypoptarts?

The subreddit is not for posts OP thinks are fake, the subreddit is for acknowledging that a post and the provided picture could easily be faked. It's low hanging fruit at this point.

Tell that to the people on the sub, even if we pretend that's how they use it all this'll actually mean is that we'll have to include the comments.

I say this as someone who frequents that sub as well and constantly sees the very same argument in the comments. 50% of people are taking the sub seriously and 50% of people are arguing with them about what it's actually for. It'd help if other subs didn't perpetuate the idea that it's something it's not, and I've seen multiple things posted here that were not actually posted with the intention of calling oop a liar.

Yeah, uh, I'm also in that sub. I agree about what it's supposed to be for, however, that's not how it's used really. Until the internal issues of that sub get resolved, it's a bit silly to expect other subs to not react to it especially when the content aligns.

When it's a post of someone usually it genuinely, I agree it shouldn't be here as they aren't saying it didn't happen, just that it might not have. But there's been posts from there posted on here that the person was very much saying it didn't happen, when it could have in theory.
