Who is giving this bird frisée lettuce for nesting material?

I’m cracking up at whatever dog toy insides it must’ve found in someone’s yard and is using it. Perfect repurposing lol

Probably the fluff from the inside of a patio chair cushion. Damn squirrels ripped a huge hole in one of ours and we saw birds stopping by, picking out the filling.

Thank you for sharing your chair with the birds 😂

I love brushing dogs & cats outside, so I can leave their hair/fur on the deck for the birds. Over the next few days I can literally watch as all kinds of birds come by to pick it up as insulation & padding for their nests.

Yes there must be a LOT of birds out there with my mini schnauzer hair in their nest. I have to shave him every two months or so and I usually throw a few handfuls out there for my bird homies.

We usually have a nest above the gutter downspout on my front porch. After everybody leaves I usually knock them down. One year it was full of the fake easter basket grass, different colors.

I hate to be that unfun person, but I find it disturbing. Those baby chicks are going to be full of microplastics and it’s going to effect their development.

No need to fret, they'll already be born with them just from mama bird drinking water.
