Airbag returns
Gm parts people, how do you return airbags? There are so many different ones, can they all be returned on the same pallet?

USA or Canadian dealer? Different processes for sure. In my cdn dealer we ship all of our pickup passenger and suv steering wheel airbags to our pdc in an open pallet with proper signage and hazmat documents etc. for the roof rail airbags we are told to deploy “safely”

New procedure Global Connect message DCS7134.
All three recall numbers have the updated procedure in them as well. This change started February.

I was about to ask this but I keep on forgetting it. How often do you guys do the TAKATA (Pickup truck single/dual airbags)? Usually we do once a year on one pallet about 100-130 airbags on it. And I just throw the other airbags (such as roof for V/R car, etc) in there, don't care if we're allowed or not.

We ship them all on the same pallet. Generally it’s all the passenger air bags, with a few of the roof rail airbags included.
