Found an AirTag in my chip bag last night
So there I am, in the middle of an intense session, grinding through my open-raise ranges and balancing my bluffs. Suddenly, my phone buzzes. I look down, and the notification reads: ‘AirTag found moving with you.’
At first, I think it’s just some kind of glitch. But then I stop and analyze the situation. Something’s not right. I scan the room, and sure enough, there’s that guy—the one who’s been tailing me every time I step into the casino. The one who always sits to my left, always at the right time. I’ve seen his tendencies. This guy thinks he can just pick up on my rhythm, track me, and then pounce. But here’s the thing—he doesn’t know what I know. I’ve studied these spots. I understand how to exploit every little thing, from betting patterns to psychological tells.
I immediately reach into my fanny pack, just as my phone buzzes again with the same message. Sure enough, nestled in that tiny zippered pocket is the AirTag, the little tech gadget that he thinks will give him an edge. The thing is, I’m too good for this. He doesn’t realize I’ve been adjusting my game for every possible variable. The fact that he’s trying to use technology to gain an advantage just shows how out of his depth he is. He’s trying to track me like I’m some fish at the table, but in reality, I’m calculating every move, every expected value, every pot odds calculation, while he’s just hoping for a lucky hand.
I don’t just play hands—I play the game. I’ve balanced my aggression, sized my bets perfectly, and put in the work on GTO wizard. That 72 offsuit I just shoved? That’s a calculated decision, exploiting his overconfidence. He can try to track me all he wants, but he doesn’t realize I’ve already anticipated his every move.
So go ahead, buddy, keep tracking. You’ll never catch up to me. I’ll keep adjusting my strategy, switch up my fanny pack, and wear sunglasses inside if I have to. You’ll still be trying to figure out why you’re down 15 buy-ins, while I just keep raking in the chips. This game’s over before it even started.

BBV I Won $15.600 in 1 month playing online cash games (AMA)
Since a few weeks ago I created a blog on 2p2 documenting my rise to high stakes (1000NL+).
In March I had my best month ever playing online cash games.
2 sites where I play on are not tracked on pt4 but the results are included below.
My total results are:
Profit before rakeback = 14.116$
Profit after rakeback = 15.593$
Hours played = 74 hours
Hourly rate = 211$/hour

Would it be stupid to buy in low for a cash game to gain experience?
Poker is just a hobby for me and I am beginning to really enjoy it. I don’t enjoy playing online as much as in person with friends. But I also play a lot more hands than I should in that scenario as to not make in unenjoyable for everyone else. I’m also the one who shuffles and deals most of the time as I’m more into it.
My local casino has £1/£1 cash games. I don’t really want to be throwing hundreds away at first. Would it be stupid to just go and buy in for £50 to get a feel for it?
They do have daily tournaments with the lowest buy in being £40. Which I am debating. However I like the idea of not being committed to playing for a certain length of time.
Also cash games appeal more at this point.
What should I do?

Discussion How do you guys stop yourselves from ruminating about mistakes you’ve made during a session?
Yesterday, I went for a ~1/3rd pot river sizing when it should have very obviously been a full pot sized bet.
I was upset at myself enough to not want to play anymore for the evening. Then, I got home, lay in my bed, and was too mad at myself to fall asleep.
Do you guys have any advice on how to stop myself from doing this?

Strategy Using AirTag to track when whale comes to casino - thoughts?
So there’s this rich Indian guy who shows up sporadically at my local room to splash around in 1/2. I’m talking playing most hands entirely blind, going all in pre with 72, you get the idea. Usually by the end of the session he’s down at least 10 buyins. Of course whenever he walks in I immediately request a table change to his table and try to sit on his left. In the past month I’m up 1500bbs in only like 8 hours of play on him.
Anyways the problem is he comes to the poker room at the most random times. In the past 2 weeks I’ve seen him show up at 10AM on a Monday, 4PM on a Thursday, and midnight on Saturday. I’ve been trying to figure out his schedule for a while but it literally makes no sense. He hates me for some reason and when I asked him what time and dates he likes to play poker he just laughed at me.
He always has this fanny pack full of purple chips strapped around the back of his chair so he doesn’t have to walk to the cage every time to reload. So I got the idea a while back to put an AirTag in there so I can get a notification whenever he shows up. He’s usually pretty drunk and there’s this small zippered pocket in the front with nothing in it so it would be pretty easy to slip it in without him noticing.
Anyways I just got the AirTag in the mail today and am planning on doing it next time I see him but I’m starting to have second thoughts. I’m pretty confident I can sneak it past him but what if floor or surveillance sees me? It’s not like I’m stealing chips from him so I don’t think I’m breaking any house rules but still.
I’m also wondering if what I’m doing is like super immoral. I won’t ever track him for any purpose except for when he goes to the casino and it’s not like he can’t afford to lose any more money to me. Has anyone here ever done something similar and how would you guys go about it? Thanks.

Do you take breaks from losing streaks or do you just keep pushing? And for how long? Weeks? A month? Just couple days?
Hand Analysis 5x river overbet raise line check
1/2 9 players live
I am BTN with T8o, have $200 (this is my 1st hand of the session, so I had to post big blind)
CO limps, I check, SB calls, BB (has $200 as well) checks. Not much to do preflop but check my option.
Flop (8) is K96r, checks through. My hand is surprisingly not dead, having a gutshot. There is no real point in taking a random stab at the pot, as it is multiway and I don't have enough fold equity, plus my range is weak on this board as I basically have atc range.
Turn (8) is offsuit A, checks through again. I still have my gutshout, and thankfully no one took a stab at the pot so I can get a free river card. There is still no point in trying to semi bluff as again fold equity is low and my range is still weak.
River (8) is a 7, giving me the nut straight, SB checks, V bets 14, CO folds, I go all in for 192, SB folds, V tanks and eventually calls with a weaker hand. The reason I chose the maximum size for a raise as V is already saying they have something good enough to call a jam when they overbet. After V called and then mucked, I figured he has 85 for the weaker straight or 77 for a set.

Is it an addiction or competitiveness why I can't quit?
I used to play as a part time hobby 3-4 times a week but it started to affect my job productivity and I was just always tired!
Years go by I finally find a job I like that pays good money so this year I have only been going live once a month, the money means almost nothing to me I play in such small stakes 2-2-3 blinds 300 max buy-in. I never rebuy and the most I can lose is 300 however this year I can't remember a winning session. If it's not a time constraint or me just losing and leaving no "actual" swings one way or the other.
I consider myself now a recreational player now and no one wants to hear bad beat stories we all have thousands of them (at my age) but this is now 4x (4 sessions 4 months) in a row I have flopped best hand possible got all the money in and lost. I know no one wants to read it but quick Q-8-3 rainbow flop pocket Queens check they bet raised they all in lose to AKos.
Just wondering why even play anymore I do get very excited the night before. I make sure 100% sober 8+ hours of sleep I wake up excited and happy! The money alone is worth the anticipation.
Wondering however is this an addiction that I HAVE to just go donate 300 dollars once a month to my local casino lol or is it some competitive drive that "forces" me to go play.
My personal opinion is that of watching and studying real "pros" they like YUP next keep it coming. I'm like well now I can't play for almost a month haha. Just was wondering the general consensus for someone like me. Thank you all for taking the time to read this!
(Started last year because of the sleep I found myself once at the table like wait I got a go to work, no shower no change of clothes nothing why I set my rule once a month this year NYR)

Chip denomination & colors?
I'm buying a set of EPT ceramic replicas, and I was wondering what denominations I should get for primarily cash home games and maybe some tournaments.
I intend on ordering 600 chips, and ideally, I'd love 5 colors - white, red, blue, pink, and yellow. (All blanks, no denominations)
How many of each color should I get for a balanced 9-10 player cash game?
(Additionally, I already have some ceramic plaques at home. 10 black plaques and 10 purple plaques, if that changes anything.)

Regarding tournament sessions tracking
For those who track all of their live/online poker tournament sessions in a bankroll tracker(like PBT, Poker Analytics 6, etc) , just curious if you are actually entering in the exact time you entered the event and the time that the event ends (either I get knocked out or I win the whole thing) ? I assume doing so would produce more accurate results. However I just put the date, the event, the total buy ins(including add ons and rebuys) and how much I left with. I feels it’s too tedious to track the exact time I started and left in these tourneys.

Hand Analysis Nittiest fold of all time?? 1/3
First time caller, long time listener…
Let’s set the mood - it’s Saturday night up at (shoutout) Winstar, rainy mid 40’s - it’s 10:30 and the Tejano Concert just released
Hero is stuck 2 bullets and table changed 3 hands prior…Effective 300
I'm UTG+1 with K4hh - limps around, 5 way to flop
Flop: 7h8hTx
I lead 15, call, button raises to 60. I call, cutoff fold
Turn: Tx
Check check
River: 8x
I lead 100. He tanks for near 5 minutes saying that's the worst river card and folds T7 face up
Table chatter of acknowledgment but without directly calling it how it was. I am silent for an orbit, guy leaves, and I declared that I had 88 that hand - yes multiple seats swallowed that hook.
