Bring in Washington and Oregon and get a corridor up the west coast. Let’s connect Canada and Mexico and the sane US states to create a powerhouse trading union

I used to resist it for this reason but I've come around that on this matter, Putin and I can agree.

As somebody from a country that was Balkanized (Slovenia), please Balkanize. Helped our country heaps and now we're on track to beat Italy in GDP per capita. We were also able to avoid wars that kept some other more conservative Balkanized countries in the dark ages.

Honestly just trim out the deep south and we're gucci. No balkanization necessary.
