It’s pretty much the plot of Civil War (2024), a president who tries to steal a third term and California and Texas among others rebel

I thought the movie did a good depiction of the brutality at local level.

Different from the movie, Trump may escalate it to an international affair (Greenland, Canada) since he seems to be taking orders from Putin, and turning those two countries gives the Russian navy a huge advantage over Europe.
