In response, White House spokesperson Kush Desai told Fox News: "Gavin Newsom should focus on out-of-control homelessness, crime, regulations, and unaffordability in California instead of trying his hand at international dealmaking."

Seems like that's exactly what he's doing by trying to circumvent inflation.

Continues to astound me how red states literally use part of their state budgets to send homeless citizens on buses to CA...and then turn around and attack CA for not using MORE of its state budget to combat the rampant homeless problem.

Just bold faced hypocrisy and gas lighting.
