It’s pretty much the plot of Civil War (2024), a president who tries to steal a third term and California and Texas among others rebel

It makes sense. California obviously hates Trump cause he’s conservative, but Texas would hate him because he’s breaking constitutional order. On the conservative sub they’re pretty against a third term. A kind of “the enemy of my enemy” situation
