Bring in Washington and Oregon and get a corridor up the west coast. Let’s connect Canada and Mexico and the sane US states to create a powerhouse trading union

Cascadia says hi

We can leave out Idaho though

I know during Covid it was a hot place to move. Why is it bad?

On the surface, it's a great and safe place to live... if you're a man. Idaho is one of the most radical states that is actively fighting to take women's reproductive health away. There are zero exceptions for abortion in this state. We adopt whatever Texas gets away with. Our state level politicians are absolutely MAGA bonkers that vote for stupid dog whistle issues. We were the first state to start banning books in libraries and all children need to be accompanied by an adult to get into a library. There is a bill moving through our house and senate to make any petitions or political efforts to legalize marijuana illegal.

Boise has an insane cost of living, especially with housing. Our gas is expensive and since there is practically no public transit you NEED a car to do anything.
