Bring in Washington and Oregon and get a corridor up the west coast. Let’s connect Canada and Mexico and the sane US states to create a powerhouse trading union

Don't forget Alaska! Our state politics aren't very sane, but our local politics aren't very sane in the opposite direction. So we'd be like the misfit cousin who shows up to dinner late and uninvited, but with fish and minerals.
