I'm tired of this argument. It depends on the right feeling hypocrisy - they don't. They know the left do, so they will use that argument against the left, but they absolutely don't care at all about hypocrisy from the right. It's a cult and that's not hyperbole

Yup they can't be reasoned with or shamed, they have neither reason nor shame

I think it's more like they don't care about hypocrisy, ever, anywhere, from anyone, period.

On the contrary, they actually think it's a main, if not the main way, of being human in the world and society.

They use the argument against the left less because they know the left cares about hypocrisy and more so because they think that's the game—that's what you're "supposed to do".

Hell, I feel like a big chunk of the vitriol for Obama was just literally them imitating the left talking about W.

They are profoundly insecure, dumb, and un-creative. They look to actually competent people and then imitate what they think they see, like a kid would who is trying to look tough or fit in at a new school or something.

It reveals the depth of their projection too because it's them implicitly assuming that the left must internally, secretly be aware of their own hypocrisy TOO, and not care about it, just like THEY themselves on the right don't actually care.

What they see is a massive game where whoever can pretend to be virtuous most convincingly, "wins". It's not even about being virtuous, that's not something they even believe ANYONE is doing. They literally think the left is just typically/historically really "good" at pretending to give a shit about any basic human ethics or morality.

They look inside themselves and see that part of themselves is just missing, so they assume everyone else must also secretly realize this but keep it to themselves like they do.
