Rich people will still come out even better after all of this. Tanking the economy will allow them to buy up more and more land, homes, and other assets that working class folks Will no longer be able to afford

This, the 1% will have a short term loss, but a long term gain as a result of this. The general population on the other hand… not so much

But if most people drown, when the tide comes back up it won't matter than others had to temporarily go lower.
