Obama alienated voters and damaged the legitimacy of the DNC by choosing not to prosecute any of the people responsible for the 2008 recession and foreclosures.

It helped set the stage for the DNC to lose to a bad candidate.

That and Joe Lieberman tanking single payer health insurance. ACA doesn’t get enough credit though for helping the economy. Self-employment and risk taking is way more possible when you detach health insurance from companies.
