Rich people will still come out even better after all of this. Tanking the economy will allow them to buy up more and more land, homes, and other assets that working class folks Will no longer be able to afford

This is what happens every time. The ultra-rich win at the end either way, whether the economy is thriving or crashing. It's everyone else that suffers.
