I think most redditors are too young to remember what all media was like for Obama. The first year or so the MSM was running Breitbart hit jobs, regularly, and throwing everything at him hoping it would stick. Any Republican invented scandal ran for months. There was constant questioning of his patriotism and how he might be a Muslim plant, secretly working against America in the war on terror. I see leftists often comment about Obama and drone strikes, but little do they know, at the time Obama was considered a pussy for not wanting to re-invade the Middle East and expand the war on terror. The shit part is, the American people were begging for it too.

So many racist email forwards and memes. Mitch said it was his goal to make him a one term president. Trump and all the Kenya bullshit. I loved Obama from the moment he spoke at the DNC. I was torn between him and Hillary-we share a birthday and personally, I actually like her. Honestly don't remember who I voted for in the primary- by the time it got to Kentucky it may have been decided.
