Rich people will still come out even better after all of this. Tanking the economy will allow them to buy up more and more land, homes, and other assets that working class folks Will no longer be able to afford

This, the 1% will have a short term loss, but a long term gain as a result of this. The general population on the other hand… not so much

Just like during Covid where the average person lost in real wages and net worth, but every billionaire increased their wealth by more than what 10,000 people make in a lifetime.
