If anyone else other than Trump did anything wrong it was like the world was ending. When it's Trump everyone has kid gloves on.

If you search for “Biden Stock Market” in the conservative sub, you get plenty of hits from a couple of years ago about how Biden’s stock market was underperforming. The stock market increased by about 42% during Biden’s presidency, which is about how you would expect.

The market has dropped almost 10% since Wednesday and that sub isn’t discussing it at all. Two of the three worst days in terms of total volume lost in the history of the S&P, which isn’t technically a fair comparison because it’s not inflation-adjusted, but the other 4 worst days in the top 6 were all during trump presidencies. And the 7th was a lame duck Biden day, and trump people claim that the gains from the market after the election belong to him so he should probably take credit for the losses as well.

You can’t even argue the playing field isn’t even. It’s so obviously tilted it would be redundant to make that claim. One political party legitimately exists in an alternate reality where they can hoard our nation’s secrets and strategies in bathrooms, text those strategies to their buddies on unsecured channels, cancel honoring fallen soldiers in favor of playing golf, and ignorantly destroy trillions of dollars of wealth in just 48 hours and nothing happens.

Obama briefly forgets to salute a member of the military and it’s breaking news. Biden got shit on in 2020 for falling off of a bike, demonstrating a level of athleticism in the process that trump hasn’t for maybe 50 years by even sitting on a bike in the first place. trump had trouble walking down a fucking ramp and drinking from a bottle. There’s no equivalency. republicans are playing on sandbox mode and Democrats are playing hardcore. It’s impossible.
