The real meta weakness of the US is this false equivalence thing - tan suit vs rape, felony, treason, and so on... yet the media is doing this 50/50 thing, focusing on impossible standards for democrats and letting everything Republicans do slide, no matter how bad.

Absolutely. It's the "yuh will what about" and the people who "don't like the Democrats either" that keep this country a perfect breeding ground for fascist oligarchy.
