Do you still not understand how Trump works? He is lying every step of the way, to get elected. Now that he was elected, the full power of his lies will take effect. I will not touch social security! That is looking to be a huge lie, hurting hundreds of thousands of people/families. Military veterans, the promises they/we signed up for, also affects former and future military personnel. The debt ceiling? Please, that is just wishful thinking. He has always wanted to enhance the millionaires and higher with tax brakes along with big corporations. He will gladly raise our debt by 12 trillion dollars or so. Just to put a smile on his upper wealth class of people. We common/normal people don't deserve things, if you can't afford it, you don't deserve it. With these tariffs, it will put the cost of things out of the price range of more people. I will use cigarettes as an analogy. When the government wanted to come down hard on cigarettes and their companies. They raised the tax hugely. This put the price out of range for the poorer of the population. The tariffs will do the same as, tariffs are just another word for tax. Don't believe it, check prices on things a week ago, and prices in a month from now. It will not hurt the wealthy but the lowly working man/families, will crush them in the long run. Housing, food, gas, automotive stuff, electricity and most everything else. Fight back with writing or call Senators and Congress person's relentlessly and VOTE.
