Selectively withholding FEMA funds of Blue states because of policy disagreements. Literally, he's willing to have Americans killed who disagree with him.

This is far worse when GWB put his crony, the Arabian horse trainer Mike Brown, in charge of FEMA. In that case, Bush was indifferent to Americans getting killed just so his unqualified friend could have a cushy job. In Trump's case, he's actively trying to get Americans killed needlessly in natural disasters.

"Heckuva job, Brownie!" seems positively quaint now.

Sorry, WRONG. FEMA Was Screwed Before Brown, & He Said So. Also It Was The Mayor Of NO Who Screwed Up BIG Time, & The Governor Was Entirely Useless. THEY Screwed Up So Bad Everyone Blamed FEMA Who Had Been There For 5 Days. Do A Bit Of Actual Research, Like I Did.

The Locals THREW OUT The Evacuation Plan, For Starters.

There were screwups at all levels, but at least the mayor and governor were elected by the people. Once elected, every executive must make responsible appointments of capable people for important jobs. There is NO excuse for endangering American lives by appointing a totally unqualified crony like Mike Brown.

I Did The Research As It Unfolded, & Blaming Brown Is Absurd. I Predicted His Final Assessment Which Was What He Had Been Saying Before Katrina Even Formed: FEMA Was Screwed Up. (All Incoming Calls & Outgoing Calls Used The Same System So It Crashed Repeatedly, No Accountability For Partners Updating Their Contact #'s Etc, Even OTHER Government Agencies.) Anyone Paying Attention Since The 70's Knew About FEMA.

The People Elected Donald Trump By The Way.

The Idiots In NO Re-Elected Their Crooked MAYOR.

And Blanco Quit Or Got At Least Voted Out.

Not to put too fine a point on it, but you do (or more likely don't) realize that for many of those people, watching the government burn the country down is actually preferable to the status quo?

If you work at McDonalds, the stock market dropping a years growth in a couple of days really doesn't mean much. It'll have to go to actual "crash" levels before those people are affected.

Many people have come to the conclusion that the government is hopelessly corrupt, run by old white men, and completely out of their power to effect meaningfully. Well, until now.

So bravo! You fucked up the government so much that literally burning it all down became a valid option to some people. Yep, democrats too, not just republicans.

Both sides are not the same. They are both corrupt though. We could have had Bernie.

Cool story

Thanks for the recession, people losing their livelihoods and getting their families healthcare gutted

You're a hero

It is comforting to know that you would rather accuse random strangers than do a god damn thing about your broken government.

It was broke before I got here, and it'll be broke long after. Because you can't act like an adult for 2 seconds and even acknowledge the reality around you. THIS IS WHY the US government is broken, because 2 people that almost certainly have more in common than in difference can't even have a conversation about why some people are dissatisfied with the status quo.

You're god damn right I am. I served my country, and I voted against Trump all 3 times. What's that make you?
