Please keep all mock drafts here from now on, posting them to the main page will result in them being removed and repeated offenses will lead to a ban

He was drafted in the 4th round last draft, and was originally intended as a developmental project due to his athletic talents. He got a knee injury and missed out on a lot of camp time, so his development was put on hold. After all our CBs got injured he had to be thrown into the wolves and of course had some losing reps. Even then on film he looked promising and you can tell that there's a physical corner in him. He matches everything Pete Carroll wants in a DB which is big, fast, physical, and isn't afraid to tackle. Just like Bennett there's a chance for him to step up this year and become a legit starting CB.

Jayden Higgins is a Day 2 X-receiver that could be a true steal if he falls to us at pick 68 in the third. He's 6'4", 215 lbs, ran a 4.47 40, wingspan over 6'7". He had almost 1200 yards and 9 TDs in 13 games at Iowa State this year. The majority of receiver options in this draft, play out of the slot primarily, and we're kinda set there with how we use Meyers and Bowers. If we're really looking for an X to fill out our ranks, and we don't get Tet or Hunter, then I think Higgins would be a great fit.

I think taking Jeanty at 1.06, a CB like Hairston, Amos or Revel at 2.37, and Higgins at 3.68 could make a ton of sense for us.
What do you guys think? I'm only starting to research him now, so I'd like to here the opinions of those more experienced with him.

Nearly every team is doing draft prep right up until the night of the draft. Most don't even start finalizing their big board until the last couple weeks. There are discussions going on inside the Raiders building about who to take at 6, but there's nothing close to a consensus. Everything we've done so far has been information gathering. Spytek going to Jeanty's pro day, all our top 30 visits, combine interviews, it's only an indicator of interest, rather than an indicator of consensus.
Within the next couple weeks we may start to see some changes in the rumor mill. That will be a better indicator of where Spytek is actually leaning at 6 than anything we've seen/heard so far.

I like OL Membou/Campbell to build run game. Graham is also up there, but there are some good DTs available in second day. Will Johnson CB seems to high for his one sided skill set.

We will have a ton of cap space next year, but we only have 25 dudes under contract at the moment. And assuming we extend Kolton and others, that cap is gonna come down a bit. It’s nice that Spytek and Carrol can significantly put their stamp on the roster, but I don’t ever remember seeing so few guys under contract a year out. Really hope they nail the draft and sign some good undrafted players.

If only he could’ve stayed healthy… McFadden finished his 7 year tenure with the Raiders with 6,000+ yards and 30 total touchdowns!
Here’s a list of 1st round runningbacks taken by the Raiders
1982 Marcus Allen 1995 Napoleon Kaufman 2008 Darren McFadden 2019 Josh Jacobs 2025 Ashton Jeanty?

Jeanty & Hampton both dogs. Still stoked if leadership ends up rolling with Henderson - explosive runner + punishing pass blocker🧨
