We just went there! Food was delicious especially the guasacaca con yucca. Might be our new favorite restaurant in Renton!

I think they're open til midnight tonight, 9am to 10pm tomorrow. I think the rest of their hours have been updated on Google.

What are their hours? I’d love to swing by and support the business!

I forgot to mention: Smoking Monkey has a happy hour from 11-6 with slice & sip for $8.31. Not sure of the limitations. Red Robin does M-F 3-6 with a decent selection too

You could try the YMCA in Newcastle

OrangeTheory Fitness is pretty much run like a class and would be the closest gym option to you.
Then there's Planet Fitness up on Duvall which is very affordable but doesn't really have classes.

I think the best match for you for adult recreational activities like dance, yoga, etc... would be the Renton Community Center. Recreation Guide | City of Renton

Both!!!

The official Indivisible Wa 8 congressional District is doing a sign waving, March and Rally at 10-12. Expected 500+ and growing...💗

Come early. Try to carpool. We will meet at the Front Street and Gilman intersection. After flag waving, we will march to City Hall and have a rally with some great speakers.

Come hydrated. Bring water, sunscreen, chairs if you need them. Maybe give thanks by having lunch at the wonderful Issaquah restaurants on Gilman after. We called as many restaurants and shops as we could today today to let them know about our march so they'd be prepared for the extra activity.

If mobility is an issue for you, you might want to park near the Issaquah Senior Center at 75 NE Creek way, and attend just the rally portion of the event. The rally takes place on the north side of Issaquah City Hall, on Veterans Memorial Field across from the Senior Center. We expect the rally to begin about 11:30 am.

Bring a sign or just your voice.

Even if you didn't get a chance to RSVP, feel free to still come. We need to get loud!!

See you there!

Then a grassroots citizens is doing his own rally at 5pm at the library. Expected turnout so far 250 and growing 💗

Outdoor / yard maintenance is huge around here too. I worked at Target at the landing unloading trucks during the Great Recession … 2009/2010. Hours were like 2am - 8 am. Pay wasn’t bad and I was able to get a 2nd job during the day. Also, I didn’t have to deal with customers.

I wouldn’t work there now. I haven’t shopped there in years.

I agree.  My brother used to work there.

Unfortunately, it has been a decade since I have done a cashiering job and employers I have interviewed with were unhappy to hear about it being so long ago [ I guarantee that they probably voted for older people who barely understand both sides of that conversation ] .

I will probably end up in a warehouse job despite my experience in : Security , Hotel , Valet parking and network administration .

I get that! Things kind of suck all the way around lately … hope you can land a job soon. This is the worst job market we’ve had in a long time. My son works at Grocery Outlet in Renton off Sunset. Great group of people there.

I was stuck in bed for 4 months. I finally made a effort to go outside . I am still trying to get into a healthy routine .

I recently received a job interview appointment through a temporary employment agency called Verstela .

This seems more promising than the dead end interviews with : Good_will , Allied-Universal , Ace and Towne_Park .

I moved here from San Diego (Oceanside) over 20 years ago. I know how hard it is. I hope today was good for you! Anytime it starts to get sunny I run outside to get some sun. This place has the longest darkest winter and rainy season. It gets so bad.

It is a mystery .

It is almost as if their emotions are easily swayed by minor inconveniences .

Thank you for letting me know. I recently moved here .
