women usually live longer. that sounds like a clear and objective advantage to me

Because we're less likely to partake in the same risky behaviors men tend to run head first into

iirc, when we look at men and women in monasteries we see that women tend to live one year more than men

I would love to see research on that, because there also tend to be some behavioral differences between monks and nuns. And most have lived in the world before they take orders.
