Chemistry Scientists developed a new lithium-sulphur battery with a capacity five times higher than that of lithium-ion batteries, which maintains an efficiency of 99% for more than 200 cycles, and may keep a smartphone charged for five days. It could lead to cheaper electric cars and grid energy storage.

The cells are stable for more than 200 cycles, unprecedented in such thick cathodes

200 cycles does not seem impressive to me. That's 200 days of use, for the average consumer device.

Or is this saying it only degrades 1% per 200 days?
