its gets to menu but the controls are not working once you get to the menu

So I can play the game fine up until just after character creation, when you run into the first wolf enemy it crashes when it hits me. Even if i sneak past it, The second I get attacked by any enemy, the game freezes and crashes. i Have the GOTY edition, updated to Version 1.0.9. Running on 1080p. I have tried deleting sound files, i have also tried modding the game with Intel SFX, and Vertex Explosion fix, does not fix it. Running on diegolix version 0.7.1.

I have also tried:

- Removing all patches, and resetting them

- Using "Normal" Shad PS4

- Apllying different patches

Any known fix for this?

System:
- RTX 5080

- Intel 12900k

- 32 GB Ram DDR5

I recently got myself a NAS (network attached storage) and am experimenting with having my games stored there to save space on my deck.

In the Windows version of ShadPS4, it was very easy to add the NAS folder path as a game pathway (//NAME_OF_MY_NAS/GAME_FOLDER_PATH).

However, I can't seem to figure out the way to do this in the SteamOS version of ShadPS4.

In Desktop mode of the deck, I can easily connect to the NAS via SMB and see all my stuff.

However, in ShadPS4, when I go to Configure/Paths/Add it opens a folder picking interface, but I cannot type the folderpath manually, only by clicking on folder icons. I am not sure where I would find network folders in this kind of interface. Thanks for any help!

When I open the game it runs at like 10 fps and patchy audio.

I disabled the 60fps patch to make the cutscene work but that didn't help, I also tried enabling 30fps and setting a lower resolution but those didn't help either.

First of all, thank you very much for what you are doing! If everything goes according to plan, this will be a pretty cool emulator of all possible. And secondly, I have a question: how can I play official PKGs? Can I just run them, or do I need to convert them to fake ones? If so, is there such a converter for Kubuntu on the net? Do I have to download a mod or something? Cause I've been trying on the controller settings but it doesn't recognize it

In order to install the Bloodborne .pkg files, I had to download an older release of shadps4. After installing the Bloodborne .pkg files, is it worth to update the emulator to the latest version to increase compatibility, or is this not worth it?

i've seen videos where people are running a vast amount of games on it all successfully, even elden ring runs on it with stutters but completely acceptable frame rate in my opinion.

but that got me wondering, can shadps4 start denuvo games such as resident evil 4 remake and street fighter 6? i sure hope so because this means that one day it might be able to run them at a decent frame rate as well.
