Dangerous fellow
Out for a walk, spotted this fat Ole Timber rattlesnake. Made sure he made it off the road.

does anyone know what kind of snake this is? I can’t tell if they’re a baby snake or just belonging to the species of small snakes, but it didn’t seem dangerous or anything. my friends and I are just curious (we all think it might be a garter snake)
I googled the possible species that might exist in the PNW, and the one that seemed closest in resemblance was the one on the last slide. However, there was no kind of body of water nearby, and this little snake was found in front of the door.

For me the Pygmy python, rhino rat snake, rough green snake and Solomon island boa.
Guess I like green beans and small guys.
Don’t think I’ll manage to find them in the uk, except maybe the rhino rat snake.

I crocheted wings to take pictures of my snakes as dragons. I love how they turned out. Was a great way to celebrate our 2 year snakeaversary!

Like the females can get 12 feet long and the males 6 feet or more, that’s a lot of snake, plus they’re semi arboreal and like a good soak that’s a lot to put in one enclosure.
Not to mention how intelligent they are.
Like how do you guys do it?
Personally I’ll just have a male dwarf boa because anything over 5 feet’s too much for me to handle.
