Studying with an actual good study vibe. If you’re in the moment and feel like you’re part of a film it works wonders! Get out of your house and go to a public coffee shop or library with all your tools so you’re not distracted with anything familiar :)

Nah I feel you. I go so much that the baristas know me and a lot of the time just make my drink as I’m walking in the door and don’t make me pay. Of course I’ll drop a generous tip in the jar every now and then.

Follow your curiosity, write questions down and proceed with your curiosity

Tbh, studying’s not really my vibe. LOL. I mean, it’s gotta be done, but I’m not exactly hyped about it.

I try to break it down into smaller chunks. Makes studying way less overwhelming.

Sometimes enjoying studying comes down to changing how you study. Active learning, gamification, or even using AI tools (though black-box models can be a mystery) can make a huge difference. Finding the right approach is key!

I'm all about rituals. And balance! So, I make sure I've tidied up the study area (by my standards lol) and at least done most my chores. Then, I make a herbal tea - usually chamomile at the mo! I put on my "special study hoody" that i ONLY wear during study, I don my noise cancelling headphones and usually put on Mogwai or something then I get going! I usually alternate between a topic or task I enjoy and one I find boring. That way, when I'm doing the 'boring' one - I know there's a fun thing to look forward to! I make sure that I don't overdo it too - all about the balance. So I usually limit this to 3 hour bursts then go for a walk or do chores or a hobby or something. Will have 2-3 sessions of this a day (depending on the day). I try keep this up for 6 days of the week and then one day - usually sat or sun I'll allow myself to just have one session. This is just what works for me though, as someone else mentioned - finding your right vibe is crucial!

If the weather is nice, I like to study on my patio. Sometimes I like upbeat (but not too crazy) music unless I'm having a hard time concentrating. Maybe a snack or some Starbz. Oh, and StudyFetch helps me too. Anything I can do to make my study sesh more enjoyable or easy, I do it.

Issue for me has always been time, but ever since i invested in walking pad, weighted vest, and standing table and use it together my productivity has 10x. I study, get exercise, and feel happier. Even when i feel shitty I remind myself I can continue to be lazy and not get anything done or achieve 3 things at once. Basically frame the way you look at it and stack tasks.

I used to hate studying..nowadays i use AI kinda...yk u upload a file and then ask questions about it and all.... But first, I think u need to be even a bit interested in the subject. Chatgpt had an only a 3 file limit...so now I use blackbox AI. It has unlimited file uploads and such. Maybe give it a try like that?

I always try to set the mood to be a bit better. clean up the area im gonna study at, make myself a cup of tea and make it cozy. then another recommendation I have is study with me’s on YouTube! they usually have a timer and atleast for me I find it more motivating and fun to study when someone is doing the same beside me! I also often find myself being more focused. And honestly if you are really unmotivated, you can try putting your favourite series in the background or a YouTube video, just to get you started with the work. A little bit is always better than nothing :D goodluck! o(`ω´ )o

I like to have a "study with me" video playing. And after sometime I forget its even playing ( get too immersed) . Study with me with a Good looking youtuber also helps as motivation lol . Feels like a study date 😭

I just enjoy the process, coz if you learn for your own learning or curiosity your grades will take care of themselves.

If you want to enjoy the process, I'd suggest finding something challenging. I have procrastination issues as well but I'm in a situation where I have no choice but to study my butt off (competitive exams). I used to despise 'studying', although I enjoy learning. So the compromise I made was to look for new, difficult problems that challenge my understanding. That way I don't see studying as a chore anymore and actually enjoy it at times (especially with the rush of having solved a very difficult question)

Edit: One of the comments asked you to follow your curiosity - that's excellent advice. At the end of the day, you just need to find that 'something' you find interesting, it could even be slightly on a tangent to what you're learning (for example if you're interested in CS, you could try to fuel that interest into learning matrices/linear algebra or calculus)

Interest fuels motivation and leads to better learning outcomes in my experience

imo, you shouldn't rely on motivation. Most people don't enjoy studying (including me), but I have discipline, and I always study for at least 30 minutes every day.
