Stupid Dove Nest Spotted in the tiny cactus section of my local plant nursery

Also escaped love birds that used to be former pets do the same! There is a good Tera mater YouTube video talking about that

Yes! I've heard that they do that to protect the egg(s) from predators. But here in NY they use 3 sticks and nest on the ledge of a skyscraper!🤣. Go figure. Nature at its most confusing.
