Discussion Why I WON’T be buying a Switch2
It's not really about the price it's more that I'm just not excited enough about it. What I'm looking for is genuine innovation and fresh gaming experiences. I want something that truly stimulates the mind something that engages the frontal cortex and makes you feel like you're in the game, living it in real time. I’m talking about real immersion, where the events feel thrilling, the emotions feel authentic, and maybe even moments of romance or deep connection. I want a console that goes beyond upgraded specs and graphics something that redefines what gaming can be.

How can a console be innovative? What innovations did Sony or Microsoft bring to the table when they launched new consoles?

Seems like you like gimmicks and nothing more something that I’m glad the new Nintendo guys seem to have moved on from

Is creating a button that costs money to use not innovative enough for you?

I think what you're describing has nothing to do with the console itself and moreso everything to do with the quality and/or type of whatever games you're playing.
