Rant Dear MS Teams: Someone liking my comment in my active chat should not cause a notification in my "Activity" panel that can only be cleared by activating that panel

Please, you're making me die on the inside. I no longer use the reactions for other peoples' messages so that they don't have to go clear it.

I tried to setup an Outlook rule for specific folder on these damn Viva emails yet somehow they just keep getting by. Literally set the rule for any subject that contains “Your daily briefing” which is the exact subject of every one that hits my inbox. I think Clippy is fucking with me

That's because they aren't regular Emails. They don't get sent to your inbox but are magically created there by Microsoft. So any rule that should filter incoming emails won't register them at all... It's annoying as hell!

Who TF thinks anyone wants daily briefings like that? Why can't they just be user friendly?

Because some jackass decided they wanted to have auto-generated useless performance metrics so they can micromanage more, and we all suffer for it.

My lead asked me to fix my Teams status because it said I’d been away for 55 minutes, and we had just finished a teams meeting. Clearly not away, but he was all like “optics”, and my side said i was still presenting.
