Hey Everyone! Just wanted to come up and say that I absolutely loved Georgia! We arrived in Tbilisi last December after a long flight from Toronto and the immigration was seamless! The officers were super friendly and we had a lil chat about the French and English side of Canada which was interesting!
Tbilisi is a great city with a great nightlife. I was very surprised to see how Georgians were so well dressed! I had read a lot about Georgians being racist, unfriendly and rude. While that may or may not be true but my 7 days experience in Georgia was different. We were met with nothing but friendly and welcoming people. Georgians, if there’s one thing you should fix in Tbilisi is your traffic haha!!
I’d definitely be coming back probably in the summer as most attractions were closed during winters (:

Hello everyone.
I need some advice.
I've recently took a cat in from the street. Went to a vet clinic to check him.
The doctor took a blood sample, made a сlinical and biochemical analysis, then suggested to castrate and vaccinate him on the spot.
We did it, and the cat started to fee worse after operation. I took the cat to the same doctor three more times. They were saying that the cat is healthy and will be fine.
Next day the cat wasn't fine. I took him to a different clinic, where they found he was sick with coronavirus. The cat now is in critical condition, and might either die or require a lot of expensive medication.
It turns out, that the clinic either forgot to, or didn't bother to check for viruses, and operated on a sick cat. This had worsened his condition from where the virus might have passed harmlessly to where he already needs an IV drips daily.
Worse case is that the clinic's administration doesn;t want to admit they made a mistake. They emailed me after I went there to complaint. Based on their communication it feels like they are fishing to see if I have any proof to possibly sue them.
F.e. do I have a stamped document from other vet, saying that they made a mistake?
Their position is they did nothing wrong, because they have these test results. Doesn;t matter if cat gets sick or dies afterwards.
I'd like some help to speading the word about this clinic. Make sure other people won't lose their pet the same way.
I'd also like some advise on whether I can or should pursue this further.
I want to make them own ou to their mistake, instead of dismissing it.

Maybe a stupid question, but will the Switch 2 be available in Georgia when it releases on June 5? Are Gamezone and Zoommer the best bets for getting one in Tbilisi?

So, I had a pretty nice time in Tbilisi for 4 days. I enjoyed the climate and the food. And I really really really loved Churchkhela, I bought like 4-5, I kept having it everyday and now it’s over :( I can’t find it anywhere here, so Im thinking of making it. I did watch a video on making and I feel it’s okay I can try it out.
But, problem is they are making it outside their house. Like during sunlight, and I have no sunlight in my apartment. My apartment is covered by other buildings and I have no balcony too.. I wanna know if I can make it at home and dry it normally in apartment? Can anyone help me out?

First of all i am a forgein student. An indian from the hillside. And i have seen and encountered numerous posts about how georgians are racist towards indians and how they avoid them like plague. And I want to say that it's not "AT ALL" TRUE. and am not saying I didn't have racist encounters even though i dont remember any but man but those things are anywhere around the whole world even in india there's racism according to skin colour with the northern and southern side nd according to religion so Idk what the fuck was the yapping about.
So this is what happened today. I was very tired the whole day cuz I had university classes and I am basically working my ass off in boxing due to some reasons idk and i had a burnout cuz my body was fully exhausted. So when I was returning home from metro around 10pm. In vaza I basically got extemely lightheaded on the stairs nd was about to kinda fall off, which i kinda handled by stopping for a few seconds and I started walking. And out of nowhere a very kind woman who would be around the age of my mother came up. She literally grabbed me by my hand even though she wouldn't be able to handle my weight cuz also she had a bag with groceries or something. And she literally helped me upstairs even though I was saying no she insisted. She helped me took me to a chair near the security in the metro station. She sat me down and gave me meds. And assured me it's safe nd she knows it.
She couldn't speak English very well but she was talking to me half in english but thankfully I also understood her georgian words. I asked her in kartuli if she was doctor nd she smiled and told me she was a nurse. And guys she literally grabbed something from the bag she was carrying and started fanning me for my head to cool down. Later on she asked me if i had food in georgian and i said no so she basically wanted to take me somewhere to buy me a kachapuri or something which i politely denied cuz i didnt want to trouble her and my house was nearby. and let me tell you ( no one in india would do that and even if someone it that would be very very very rare cuz no one would give 1 single fuck about someone just stopping on a stair ). I am not bitching about india I love my country but so do I love the country I am in right now.
2ndly I used to work in an office here during my first year (a year ago) and all of the gorgians there were amazing. I made a very good friend there who used to literally treat me like a brother sadly he passed away and that still sticks to me every now and then. But my point is that they were as good as someone could be.
3rdly the gym i go to which is a boxing gym. Everyone there are Georgians and I have not seen any Indian apart from my 2 friends who go there sometimes with or without me. And everyone there are sweethearts. They greet me whenever possible they treat me with respect and what more can I ask for. My coach is super nice the owner is super nice and the community as a whole is very supportive.
Now coming to the bad experiences I have absolutely none cuz I don't create problems wid Georgians even if someone acts rude ofc cuz my friend once said the whole brotherhood will come to you if you do that. But apart from that, never have I ever faced anything severe. Some people avoid us but it's not like the Indians are jolly people who go and try to talk to gerogains in georgian and then get avoided.
The moment I say some Georgians words though I know only a few they have only replied me with a smile.
Main bottom line is. I have met far more good people than racist people. And don't go nd ask what my skin colour is to make up a reason. And I also think if people converse with Georgians more and show some good mannerism they would have the same experience or maybe a lot better than I have.
And also thankyou to all the people I am kinda sad I don't remember the lady's name it's my fault I didn't ask her but she was a very kind soul and I appreciate it very much and it really made me feel good after staying away from home.

Hey everyone,
Hope you're all having a good day. I was reading online the other day and came across some information about opportunities in Australia, specifically in the mining and farming sectors. It sounded like there's a need for people to come and work in these areas, and that the country is open to welcoming folks from overseas.
Im Georgian myself, and the idea of working in Australia is really interesting to me. I'm quite keen on learning more about what these jobs might involve. So perhaps someone who is from Australia can drop some leads and suggestions?
Also, has anyone here had any experience with this, or know where I could find reliable information past web? Any insights into the process, or even just general thoughts on working in Australia, would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance for any help you can offer!

Found a little kitten on the streets of Batumi. Now he’s ready to find a loving family! He’s about 2 months old, litter-trained, healthy, playful, and absolutely adorable. He’s not neutered yet — it’s best to neuter him starting from 7 months. If you can offer him care and a cozy home, please DM me
