It's so profoundly sad. These man-babies are just gaping holes of emptiness. They'll never be satisfied until every single organism on planet earth is required by law to tell them they're good enough, smart enough, loved and adored. It's the saddest, most pathetic thing about unaware narcissists.
True, I do pity him to some extent. Given how his father, to this day, publicly keeps saying what a useless POS he is and how his mother keeps repeating how very very special Musk is and that he is a genius, it's honestly no wonder he ended up as a raging narcissist. It's a double whammy of the two classic recipes causing narcissistic personality disorder.
The only person that could fill this gaping emptiness inside him would be himself - to learn to love himself without outside validation or material things giving him a feeling of worth. But to get there, he would first have to admit to himself, that what he is doing is wrong and how much pain he caused other people. Then go through all this pain of his own past again to resolve his past traumas. Do some hard work on himself. And then maybe come out the other end some day.
He has all the time in the world to go to therapy several times a week instead of tweeting hateful things. He has all the money in the world to afford the best therapists and psychiatrists in the world. And I believe he is at least intelligent enough to do some self reflection. But he still chooses to not do it. Not even for his children, to not pass his pain on to them. Because he is weak and a coward. He'd rather stay in denial. And that's where my pity and empathy ends.
And so he keeps being a human black hole: consuming power, consuming admiration, consuming material wealth; consuming, consuming, consuming. And nothing will ever be enough.

Dude won’t be happy until he owns everything and everyone. Also, he won’t be happy then either. But that’s his aim.
