“Losing money costs you nothing” boy he really thought that was clever

3

u/double_expressho 9h ago

By that logic, shouldn't we tax the shit out of billionaires?

2

u/expera 9h ago

Exactly

u/double_expressho 8h ago

In that case, I think I like this guy now, until he inevitably moves the goalposts if you bring this up.

When do we start singing “The west is red..”

FUCK LOOMER TOO SCUMMY TRAITOR BITCH

1

u/One_Rope2511 8h ago

Didn’t Trump secretly have “relations” with Loomer during one of his campaigns about a year ago???

3

u/Jmacattack626 1d ago

Loomer is a perfect example of the maga cult. Loyalty should be to the US and the constitution, not to Trump and anything he suddenly decides to do. Republicans used to believe in free speech and limited government intervention, but now that their only loyalty lies with Trump, it's becoming authoritarian and only free speech if you share their views. Small government when it benefits the billionaires who supported Trump, but the hypocrisy is clear. The idiotic trade wars and self-inflicted recession will hurt everyone, regardless of who they supported in the election. The billionaires will get their tax cuts, and the wealth disparity will increase, but will enough people hold Trump and the Republicans accountable before they restrict voting rights, and make it even harder to oppose them in the future?

do any of you actually understand what communism is?

maga is not communism. it's the exact opposite.

fascism is not communism. nazism is not communism. fascism and communism are both authoritarian. one is extreme left, the other is extreme right. neither are good.

8

u/Qvinn55 1d ago

I not gonna lie, I assumed this was supposed to be a joke. MAGA is fascist lol

5

u/Jartipper 1d ago

The people making these claims are nazbols. Jackson Hinkle has been a nazbol for a long time. He’s also likely on Russian payroll

3

u/ElectricalTurnip87 1d ago

Both of them share a lot of cross-sections. It's not hard to understand and it's trolling MAGA for calling Democrats Communist. Follow along...

3

u/Waescheklammer 23h ago

I think this joke is less about communism and more about mirroring totalitaristic things the CCP or North Korea do, that were condemned before.

1

u/DustyMan818 18h ago

My concern is Maccarthyism. American paranoia of anything remotely "socialist," even things like universal healthcare, UBI, and other government assistance, has been an impediment to any of the same developments in western European countries like Denmark, Norway, and Germany.

Associating MAGA with communism is only going to heighten that. I do agree with you though about the true comparison being totalitarian forms of government. It's surreal to watch MAGA scream about Russia while Trump pulls the exact same shit as Putin.

u/Command0Dude 15h ago

Anyone who self labels as a communist these days is functionally just controlled opposition under the sway of kremlinist propaganda operations. IE Tankies. And there is considerable overlap between tankies and fascists in terms of thought leadership (focus on cults of personality, hatred of jews, obsession with conspiricism, appeals to authoritarian, hatred of liberalism, hatred of international alliances, etc etc.)

Until the left purges tankies from their movements, accusation of red-brownism (maga communism) will continue.

1

u/TomcatF14Luver 1d ago

Um... MAGA is currently building an alliance with the Communist Party of America.

So... yeah.

2

u/DustyMan818 18h ago

You are exactly the people who are fooled by this bullshit. This post is a joke and yet it's creating confusion and misinformation.

I used to be a member of the Socialist Revolution, a Trotskyist sect of the US Communist Party focused on the principles put forth by Lenin, Trotsky, and Marx himself. (I personally left because it felt too much like sitting and arguing over theory instead of taking action.)

I can assure you, American Communists want nothing to do with MAGA and their christofascist oligarchy. MAGA operates like a pyramid scheme, the workers on the bottom are convinced they'll be one of the big dogs profitting up at the top. Communism, in theory, is directly opposed to such organization of power.

Communism also demands a separation of church and state, something that white evangelical MAGA have absolutely no interest in doing.

So. No. They're not.

u/TomcatF14Luver 8h ago

Then why are they successfully getting them onboard?

Dude, it's even made some newslines.

1

u/gilwendeg 1d ago

Yeah, I mean, Mao was a good guy. Highly democratic, all for transparency in office, rooting out corruption (publicly posting the crimes of corrupt officials), education for all (especially girls and women).

2

u/TomcatF14Luver 1d ago

Been calling Trump a Maoist for a while now myself.

Not sure when I started. But for over a year, year, and a half, I knew that comparing him to Hitler, Mussonlini, and Stalin was inaccurate.

Behaviors match. Hygiene match. Health match. Laziness match. Ego match. Worshipped matched. Pedophilia match.

Frankly, if it weren't for the fact both were alive at the same time, I'd assume Trump was Mao reborn.

u/Own-Inevitable-1101 1d ago

Putin blames us for destroying Communist Russia, so he wanted to make Communist America happen, and it looks like it is headed that way.

He liberated my fidelity account and 401k that's for sure

Idiots. You know why? Because for the last 20 years the US has been afraid of China overtaking the US in terms of influence, money, and power. China hit a great wall a couple of years ago. It turns out their economy is built on a house of cards. No disrespect, it is what it is, but the cultural fear, the deep-seated long-vision fear response was to become more like China. Oopsie daisie, that was a mistake, it turns out US democracy IS different, innovative. Capitalism for all of it's faults is an organizing powerhouse of industry. Who knew?

👊🇺🇸👊 MAGA COMMUNISM 👊🇺🇸👊

0

u/JFKs_Burner_Acct 1d ago

MAGA is Fascist, not communist lol

That's a pretty weak comparison, a few pins and similarities… this is closer to saying Obama wore a tan suit just like Hitler!

God I miss when that was the biggest problem in our country. No American flag pin, tan-suit-gate, being black. Americans have chosen what they prefer.

Oh what now? I saw a video (i wish i can get it, maybe i can) of Nancy Pelosi circa 1995, saying the EXACT same thing, Trump is saying about these tariffs.

Back then, Unions actually "voted" for Democrats, being they were pro union, pro worker, and pro working class.

But you see, Mr Clinton and Mr Bush, killed the working class, and our unions with their free trade and globalist policies, NAFTA, China in the WTO and mass globalization has caused.

Look up the "Battle for Seattle, where Lefties, our Unions and Working Class tried to END the World Trade Organization Bill Clinton folowed by George Bush, who ended this country, started..

But Mr Pakman is too young, and now too rich to remember what the Left was all about.

And given the Citizens United Case (by Bush appointed Justices) made Corporations "people", our Unions thrown overboard in favor of Democrats groveling for those donors and monies.

Well the gravy train for Wall Street, Parasitic Business interests and the DNC Inc are now OVER.

There is no reversing these Tariffs. Trump is a one termer and can tell Wall St, Business and Foreign Interests to fuck themselves, and that is that.

It is time the Democrats create a NEW Post Globalization Class Warfare populist party, and rid these feminine sissies and well dressed hedge funders OUT their party.

u/itscool 1d ago

saying the EXACT same thing, Trump is saying about these tariffs.

What did she say and what did he say? Did democrats ever implement it or not? Why not?

Clinton tried to sponsor China into the WTO, but hardliners from the Right like Jesse Helms thought it appeased the communists. Those on the Left like Dennis Kucinich, Michael Moore and others, railed against it for what it was going to to to the working class and our unions.

In the end, Ohio, PA, WI, MI, and the whole rust belt in our country, decimated. What Michael Michael Moore predicted on the his first movie "Roger and Me", came to fruition.

In the end, Clinton did not have the support. NAFTA was enough he'd get. But George W Bush, as the dust was literally setting down at the WTC, did that very thing, and sponsored China into the WTO.

One of his biggest economic failures, that have crushed we and the working class until today.

And one of the biggest reasons, the Democrats lose and have lost the rust belt, the working class, and our unions. And why Trump, unlike Bush is getting them.

As far as the video, i'd put it up, but it's by a YTer that is considered a right winger, and i don't want to give him the hits. I'll have to look for it myself, but "Asmongold" put out the video, and it was correct as to Pelosis speech on the House Floor.

But if you insist, here it is...

I don’t think many people are against tariffs, but the sudden onslaught of them across the board to all of our allies and nations we have good relations with, plus the exemptions of Russia and specific oil donors pretty blatantly exposes the intents here: Donnie D-Cups will make a lot of money out of this and it’s a pure oligarchy move.

Renegotiating tariff agreements is one thing, pressing tariff nuke button is feckless and shows nothing less than complete incompetence on the subject and/or intentional secret motives to destabilize the economy and lead the entire globe into a massive economic decline.

u/otto_dicks 1d ago

It's the same with economic migration, the anti-war movement, criticism of institutions like the EU (in Europe), foreign aid being used for neocolonial imperialism, Wall Street bailouts... As an old lefty, I remember a time when those were leftist issues. The neoliberals have flipped everything upside down.

2

u/jagdedge123 1d ago

You are ABSOLUTELY, correct.
