Joy’s Book
If you haven’t read it yet, I highly recommend the audiobook version of her book! It’s hilarious and nothing beats hearing Joy storytelling and cracking jokes about the craziness going on.

Watching Friday's show with Dule Hill. Sunny brings up the Hulu series, "Good American Family", that he stars in. She then proceeds to - tell WAY too much! I'm very irritated, to say the least. I was watching and enjoying the series; then she went and totally ruined it. Apparently, Natalia was all over the news. I've never heard of her. I purposely was waiting to watch the Hulu doc about her until the series was over. Talk about taking the wind out of someone's sail!

The Candace Cameron years were the worst. Candace was almost never there and when she was, she'd just act like she didn't understand anything. You could tell she was trying not to say too much of what was going through her mind.
I remember when Danny Pintauro came on and she was so cold towards him. Or when she sided with the homophobic bakers and Raven had to put her in her place.
I'm shocked she even came back for a second season though she quit after a few months. No great loss, since was rarely there, she was more interested in promoting her talentless daughter. Newsflash: GAC movies or a duet with Alexa Joel Ray on MuchMusicTV.

So you didn't think this is what would happen? Well Sara, you were wrong. You are wrong. You congratulate yourself on the daily for being in the center of the political view. You tell us all the time how fair and considered your opinions are. Well, you were wrong about what would happen with the immigration issues, you are often wrong.

To add context. Carrie Coon’s preceding comment:
“I do think people like Meghan McCain and her community are really gratified to see a conservative person on television. I have conservative people in my life who reached out to me to say that was an awesome conversation, because I don’t think it vilifies Kate”
Has anyone else followed this back and forth? Meghan’s most recent response is wildly disproportionate and seems to me just another example of her just literally fighting with herself.

I just can’t imagine a few of the hosts watching the series. Also, they would have to watch A LOT of tv shows and movies.

Her saying she broke down crying in the bathroom was over-dramatic. What about the number of times Meghan screamed and disrespected Joy? Seriously, Meghan, what did you expect? You don't mistreat someone who's old enough to be your grandmother and expect her to miss you.

I have to say, I completely agree with Sunny on this one, and I’m glad she referenced what studies and experts say. By the time kids are 5 or 6, I think it’s important to start teaching them about privacy and modesty—making sure they’re covering themselves and respecting others’ space. I also think 9 is too old and your kids shouldn’t see you naked even after they’re 5. Mind you, I’m a guy and have no kids so idk what it’s like when you actually have kids but I’m just thinking about what’s appropriate and how I was raised. I had friends growing up whose families were much more open about being naked around their parents but their parents weren’t ever naked around them and it was still always weird to me.

This is gonna sound ageist, but for the record, I never felt this way about Barbara (who knew when to exit) despite my other issues with her.
But if I had a dollar for every time Whoopi or Joy lost their train of thought or were shocked or confused at a complex political issue Alyssa or Sunny or Sara are talking about, I could pay both of their salaries. Joy is always forgetting Alyssa's professional background, Whoopi often has the same laissez-faire "lots of stuff is going on, the world is crazy" response to even the most nuanced of issues. I've LOL'ed at her "I'm here for a paycheck" quotes too, but I think at some point that leads to this. If Rosie O'Donnell hadn't moved to Ireland I'd have said bring her back, but here's my dream lineup:
-Moderator: Tamron Hall
Cohosts:
-Ana Navarro
-Tara Setmayer
-Alyssa Farrah-Griffin
-Sunny Hostin
-Amanda Seales

Is it just me, or has anyone else noticed that lately Sarah often sounds like she’s about to barf? Voice shaky. Especially during conversations about Trump.

Thank you, Alyssa!!!! This was totally irresponsible and reckless and somebody needs to be fired. What an embarrassment!

and hope she's there forever. But, why does she have to ask the audience if they know what they are talking about? She just did it with Signal leak?
