TIL about Delusional parasitosis, sometimes referred to as phantom infestation, is a psychological disorder in which an individual mistakenly believes their body is overrun by living or inanimate entities. Typical examples of these perceived invaders include bugs, worms, or microbes.

I mean, doctors also missed 7 diseases I was born with. At a certain point just trusting other doctors isn't the best way to go about things. See any research on high voltage electric shock treatment, that was torture and didn't change until sooner than you realize. Don't do this stuff to people who are stuck in the medical system. It's a form of oppression. Literally everyone goes ignorance is bliss about how poorly our medical system even operates... not even beginning on why the doctor would want you to not be sick? They don't get paid to hide problems, but a lot of them sure do that. Wait until it's your turn and it's already too late.
