We're about to lose a camera. This camera is usually about 6' off of the ground and 12' or so above the water line. Water is normally about 100yds away....

Another near victim of our current flooding... this camera is safe. Not so sure about my Hillbilly Hilton. It hasn't floated. Yet.

What's this Coyote got

Been staring at this for a couple days trying to figure out what this coyote caught. My best guess so far is a turkey maybe a javelina baby. What do you all think?

PH960W - motion detection/trigger seems extremely erratic

Upvotes

Only just setting this up this MAXDONE PH960W for the first time and the detection and video/image capture seems extremely erratic.

Even in Test mode the red light doesn't always illuminate to indicate motion detection.

Am I missing something or is it just faulty?

Note that I'm not enabled the Map but surely that's not a requirement?

How do you deal with moving grass and branches?

It’s pretty windy here in the mountains of New Mexico and I often get dozens and hundreds of videos of nothing because there is always some branch or grass moving. I try to find less windy spots but that’s pretty hard.

Do you guys have any strategies to deal with this? are there some cameras that are better? I suppose you could do something with image recognition but that would probably kill the batteries.

Why is this not working

I’m getting a million pics of grass and swaying trees every time the wind blows too hard - but several times I’ve seen FRESH tracks 20ft in front of my camera but it’s not taking pictures … any ideas? (Tacticam 3.0) was working fine getting captures everyday for the first month … haven’t had an animal on camera in two weeks

I put my camera out to catch the neighbor that wasn't picking up after their dog in my yard. Caught these guys instead. Pretty sure it was them.

Montana Cougar?

We're in western Montana. There were multiple cougar sightings several years ago, but none confirmed in about the last five years. (It's logical that we would have them. We have bear, wolves, moose, deer, elk, etc.)

Just want other's opinions.

I know this is probably a long shot, but can anyone help me ID this animal?

This animal (lower left) walked past my camera at about 4 am. It only picked up a glimpse and can’t determine what it is. I am in Massachusetts and have 3 ponds and a stream in my backyard and am wondering if there’s any way it’s a beaver? They are my absolute favorite animal and it would make me soooooooooooo happy if one visited my ponds (if beavers moved in I could die happy). They weren’t in this part of the state until recently from what I found out online when I researched it previously, but I looked again this morning and apparently they have spread out into this area! That alone is cause for celebration! I know the image quality sucks and I’m sorry. Can anyone tell? Thank you so much!

I've had these cameras a couple of years and this is the first time I've seen this (the red ones) icon and I can't find anything about it. Anyone know what it means? Stealthcam cellulars

If theres an icon library somewhere I'm missing it. I remotely formatted all of the cards yesterday because they were all suddenly showing full.
