East Asia 26M heading to Japan for the first time! April 28th-May 7th

Really excited about my first overseas trip and in the early planning stages.

I’m planning on spending the first two-three days in Tokyo, and then heading out to possibly Kyoto (still figuring out which places are going to be possible).

I would love to meet people along the way or have people join me!

I’m really into photography and exploring new places. I’m a little reserved at first, but really adventurous at heart and easy-going.

Feel free to DM if you’d like to meet or join me. Down to hang out, explore an area of town, restaurant, hike, etc.

Also since I’m flexible with my planning at the moment, I’d be down to join someone if you already have an itinerary in place, even for a day trip!

East Asia South Korea I 14 - 29 April 2025 I 30M

Hey!

I'm travelling to South Korea for the first time in April 2025 for 15 days. I'll be in Seoul (14-16 & 26-29), Jeju (17-21) & Busan (22-25). Besides visiting the tourist spots, I'm keen on going on hikes, nature trails, stargazing, playing sports and exploring the non-touristy, mundane parts of the country to get a real feel of the locality. I'm open to visit other cities as well if any interesting activity is suggested.

Except the hike up to Mt. Hallasan on the 18th, my itinerary is pretty much open as I am a slow traveler and usually try to do one or two touristy things in a day where I can spend enough time to take in what that place has to offer and spend the rest of the time exploring the area, doing photography and enjoying the food.

Let me know if you're planning to travel around the same time or share your experiences so that I can take some inspiration while preparing my itinerary.

Have a good day! :)

East Asia 38M - Tokyo and Japan - 25th March to 18 April

Hey y'all.

I'm a 38 year old African guy from Sweden, who is currently travelling in and around Asia for a while and i'll be in Japan from end of March to 18th April, maybe extending it to around 30th April depending on how things go.

I'll be based out of Tokyo, it'll be my second time around, so this time i'm also making plans to visit further south to places like Osaka, Nagoya, and maybe as far down as Nagasaki. I'm very flexible around my schedule, and if anyone wants to explore some other places nearby i'm always happy to tag along.

I'm very much a food person as i like to explore through the medium of my stomach, but also do love walking around and doing street photography, and i'm also up for hikes as well. The aim of this trip is definitely to just enjoy places and experiences, so i'm open to anything.

East Asia 20, Male to Hong Kong from 3rd-11th of May

This is my first time solo travelling and my parents insist that i find someone who i can rely on to travel with. Don´t have any airtight plans when it comes to exploring the city, but there are some places i would hate to miss such as the Bruce Lee statue. I´m planning to stay at the Chungking Mansion in south Kowloon.

East Asia 20 Nonbinary - Tokyo, Japan - 16th May to 22th May

Hey! I’m 20 years old nonbinary person from Finland and I’m traveling to Tokyo in May from the 16th to 22th. I’m only staying around a week for reasons I rather keep private.

I need to warn that I might have a family member traveling with me or not, depending on her vacation dates, but there are places where I want to go that she doesn’t, so even if I end up traveling with her, I would still like to have company to some of these places.

I don’t want to share a hotel room with anyone, but I want someone to hang out with me in the city while I’m there. I would also prefer to have a fellow queer person as a travel buddy, since I am planning on going to some of the LGBTQ places in Tokyo and Shinjuku Ni-chōme.

I’m planning on going to see the Haikyuu Stage Play while there. Since it’s one of my favorite animes, I’ll probably visit stores related to it. I’m also planning on going to the Ghibli Museum and Edo-Tokyo Open Air Architectural Museum. Of course I also plan on doing some shopping and sightseeing.

East Asia Jan 19th to Feb 2nd: Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka

25M from Europe. I speak english, german and a bit of french. Got some solo travel experience but I would like to share this trip with some(one). I love to pursue my hobby of photography when I'm on holiday so free pictures included. I also love to go out and really want to experience Japan's underground car culture at some point. I'm open to any and all activities. If possible cutting costs by sharing hotel rooms would be great but not necessary. Anime fans welcome, please just no otakus.

East Asia Japan trip April 28-May 11

Hey! So I am trying to gather 1-2 people with a similar interest in traveling to Japan! I have a Doc and plans detailing everything that I could share if anyone would like to see it. I would hope we could meet beforehand which is why I would hope anyone from the South to Central Florida area would be interested. Please let me know if any of this sounds appealing!

A brief rundown of places we’d be going:

Fly out on April 28th and land the 29th in Haneda

Tokyo April 29th - May 2nd

Kyoto May 2nd - May 4th

Kinosaki May 4th - May 5th

Osaka May 5th - May 8th

And Tokyo again May 8th - 11th and fly out

East Asia South Korea, March 15th - March 22nd: Seoul, DMZ, Busan

I am a 35-year old traveler from Switzerland. Once a year my wife and I take trips separately and this time I will be traveling to Korea from Switzerland. l'd be keen to meet fellow travelers who want to tag along. Especially for guided tours, such as the DMZ tour, where it’d be easier to team up with someone in order to book a more private tour (which often times require minimum of 2 people), rather than using the regular operators. Let me know if you want to tag along - I speak English, German, Hungarian and some French.

Hi! First time solo travel this far and to a country that I don’t speak the language in, I’m just looking to have some one who knows the play of the land a bit (even if it’s just one day in some random Japanese city!) I havent fully picked where I’ll be traveling in Japan but I’m willing and wanting to go as many places as I can!
