South Asia 35M in Da Nang, Vietnam from May 12-21, 2025 – Seeking travel companions for sightseeing, beach, gym, cold plunge, local food, culture, and nightlife

Hey everyone, I’m a 35-year-old male travelling to Da Nang, Vietnam from May 12 to 21, 2025. I’ll be exploring the local culture, enjoying the food, hitting the beach, visiting the gym, and doing cold plunge sessions. I’m also keen to check out whatever nightlife and night markets Da Nang has to offer.

If you’re in the area during these dates and want to join in on any of these activities or just hang out, feel free to reach out! Looking forward to experiencing all that Da Nang has to offer.

Cheers!

South Asia Back from Maha Kumbh (India), want to go again! 20 to 24 Feb 2025

I am not that kind of religious or cultural guy. I like to travel alone in groups and solo. We just got back from Maha Kumbh, 3 days, 10 people.

I was not getting the vibe till the first day but as the time passed, I felt belonging there. I now feel I have left something there which I need to go and get. I might travel alone too but I thought to drop a post here if someone else wants to come along too.

I am even fine to go with a group, I won't be a trouble, I will be in my own vibe there. You will anyways love my company!

Better is to find someone who wants to travel there too and dont know much about the stay, places to visit and travel hacks there.

I know about the full area now, how to optimize the wholw travel, best stays and best and underrated spots to visit there.

Let me know if someone wants to join or even if someone has one seat left! 🙃

South Asia Anyone up for a Udaipur trip from Mumbai? (6th - 9th March)

Hey everyone!

I’m Dev, 21M, and I’m planning a solo trip to Udaipur from Mumbai from 6th to 9th March. Thought it’d be fun to have some company, so if anyone’s interested in joining, let’s make it a group trip!

Here’s the rough plan:
🛤️ Departure: 6th March from Mumbai
🏞️ Exploring Udaipur: 7th, 8th & 9th March (City Palace, Lake Pichola, Sajjangarh, cafes, markets, etc.)
🚆 Return: 9th(Night) March back to Mumbai on 10th.

Looking for chill, like-minded travelers who love exploring, good conversations, and soaking in the beauty of the City of Lakes. If you're up for an adventure or have been thinking of visiting Udaipur, hit me up, and we can plan together!

Drop a comment or DM me if you're interested. Let’s make it an awesome trip! 😃

South Asia Sri Lanka 24th January - 14th February

Hey folks - I'm Mike from Australia/New Zealand and I'm going to be solo travelling around Sri Lanka for 3 weeks starting late January.

My plan is to hire a TukTuk in Negombo then putter my way around the country clockwise hitting:

Negombo> Wilpattu NP> Annuradhapura> Sigiriya> Kandy> Ella> Udawalawe NP> Hireketiya> Mirissa> Ahangama> Unawatuna/Galle> Hikaduwa then finishing back in Colombo (if I don't get crushed by a bus or an elephant along the way.)

If anyone is solo travelling Sri Lanka around the same time and either wants to hitch a ride, join me on a safari or activity to split costs or even just want to meet for a meal and a drink someplace boujie on a beach - drop me a DM.

I've been solo travelling for a few years now and enjoy making new friends and going on impulsive and slightly manic adventures with randoms from around the world.

Have fun and safe travels!

Bought a last minute flight to Colombo and back, landing late at night on the 1st. My wife is here on a business trip but I'll be largely traveling around on my own.

My plans are currently open and up in the air at the moment. I'll most likely be spending a full day in Colombo on the 2nd and 10th, but am looking at places outside of town to visit.

I've been recommended to go to Kandy, Nuwara Eliya, Ella, Galle, Dambulla, Sigiriya and Polonnawura so far, trying to see how I can fit enough of these into my itinerary. If anyone's going to these places while I'm here, I'd love to join up!

I'm also open to hiking (heard Adam's Peak is great although the monsoon weather's still on I think) and diving (supposedly possible in August at Trincomalee).

South Asia Nepal August 4th - September 1st

Hey I'm 30m from Texas. My girlfriend and I will be arriving on August 4th to KTM then Pokhara on 11th. Really excited to meet our friends in Nepal again.

This is my third time in Nepal in the last 18 months. I'm in love.

If anyone wants to meet up, hit us up. I'm working at nights remotely so daytime is best.

We know some cool places and secret waterfalls from our last visit!

Cheers

After my first successful solo trip to Istanbul in April, I'm doing a trip to Bangkok at the end of the month. If anyone is around the city at the time or would like to join for a few days for it, do get in touch! Aim of the game is to blaze and laze, some beer and some chill.

Cheers!

South Asia 26M - India & Japan - April 12 to May 30th

Hi! I'm taking a career break and doing some travel. See more info below.

About Me

I grew up in the USA and am currently in NYC. Work in the tech/finance space. I enjoy being active - hiking, bouldering, working out; and am a foodie. Generally willing to try most things at least once. Am also a pretty curious person.

Itinerary

India

  • April 12th to 25th - Kerala: This is where my family is from and you are welcome to visit/stay at my place while Im there

  • April 26 to Mid May - Visiting Major cities: Chennai, Banaguru, Hyderabad, Mumbai, New delhi, Kolkata Not sure if I'll get to all of them, but want to try. In addition to checking out attractions and food, I'm very curious about the Indian economy and what kind of business opportunities there are.

Japan

  • Mid May to end of May: Itinerary pretty loose at this point. Planning to be in Tokyo. I had the Shimanami Kaido bike route recommended to be - so will likely do that as well!
