I got myself a gift of being AF, IWNDWYT! I did that because this one time I got so drunk I wound up in rehab 3x and lost over a decade of my life so you don't have to. The research is in, this boy can not handle his liquor, or maybe handles it too well, either way me and alcohol have a bad time!

Alas, I yearn for a simpler time that never really existed šŖ

These were the "Headlights of the Future" in 1950's Detroit

Ok, maybe it is just me, but I feel like he softened on his "Colbert-esque" character. Sometime in the last month or two he seems to have found the right balance of sarcasm and non sequiturs to really click hosting for me. Still taste is subjective and me saying I like all of them is kind of a cop out :)

I was just thinking the other day how I really like the new format because each host I feel like I have a connection with. Everyone is my favorite when they are on, I started trying to figure out who I liked least. I couldn't hate any of them. Ronnie and Costa I enjoy, Desi I love, Klepper has such a young news guy persona. idk Give each of them a show!

West Virginia is notoriously lax in tenant protections as a majority of the state owns their homes. Meaning they pay the bank rent and assume the maintenance liability since few own their property outright. The state laws are designed, for better or worse, to protect poor landowners from losing their property no requirements for improvement.
TLDR: WV is good for property owners (low tax and regulation) but bad for renters.

As a barely millennial, I don't think I have believed that retirement was a possibility my entire life. Still it is scary stuff.

I know they take a lot as temps and offer them jobs if they like them. I think they partner with Manpower, but I could be mistaken.

I have found posting on here to be helpful... I try not to do it too often but a post once every 60 days or so I don't think is bad. Just describe your site and post the address be sure to set the flare appropriate to the blog post. I recently discovered the feeds on Jetpack if you use that for your Word Press app. If you follow other blogs and make comment they might reciprocate. Best of luck!

Transformco makes what Eddie says it makes! But I bet they can find enough credit to buy some sham crypto. Maybe they will turn Shop Your Way Rewards points into the next DOGECOIN

I am inspired by your story, and moved by what you had to go through to get here! 8/19/2023 the last time I checked into rehab about 20 months ago. It was the third time I did a 28 day and I lost track of 7 day medical detox's after a dozen or so. I hope to make it to 9 years... I have a little less than 8 to catch up!
Sobriety has meant lots of changes, but what I kept is just as important. My fiance and future step-son are by my side and were around at the beginning of when I was trying to get clean 3 years ago. They have definitely seen me at my worst, and now I want to give them my best!

I hate ironing too, not too fond of folding either. Why is there no machine to automate that! Sign me up for some LG/Samsung monstrosity that breaks every week, and I will give you every cent I make until I leave this mortal coil!

I appreciate you walking the walk with your life and sobriety. Reaching others through positivity is crucial. I used to think I hated people, and I did. Now I realize I get back what I put out into the universe, and people no longer perplex me. You hate what you don't understand sometimes.

While by no means a majority, there are people who live around me that only have running water and electricity when they go to a public space that has those things. Rare, not everyone or even a lot of anyone I meet. I see their houses up in the hills, they look abandoned, but people are coming and going... Something about a house with people living in it and no front door makes me feel sick inside.

That is a similar vein unfortunately.... sucking isn't just great for us men. But... many less people have to do lawn maintenance than need to wash their clothes.

If you ever have the joy/curse of working food service you will wish for a quick commercial unit at home lol

Markets vary widely; I couldn't make what I make at a 9-5 around me in as little time. What I make regularly in 2-3 hours used to take 6 or more at a W2.
You have to know when it is busy. Your vehicle cost, gas, insurance, all that is very variable between people and markets. It is important to know your actual cost per mile to operate your vehicle. Changing vehicles can easily take you from $0.65 a mile to $0.18 a mile. Calculate maintenance, insurance, mileage, fuel cost, oil change, tires, EVERYTHING, and divide that by your average annual mileage. I took my odometer and divided by year to get a baseline.
