Research Visual snow static improved after ibuprofen
I took ibuprofen last night and noticed the static is less intense than it used to be. Possibly due to it’s anti-inflammatory properties? Probably reduced my neuroinflamation? Who knows.

thank you for this;
Probably reduced my neuroinflamation?
yes. although what you have realised is by your own subjective way of measuring symptom reduction and so it is difficult to really quantify for us; not saying that it is placebo my friend (even if it is, the placebo effect is real and has cured people of conditions and illnesses, so idk why people sometimes take this as a diss), but it is rather hard to for us to be so sure just how consistent of an improvement this might have been, if that makes sense still. but no– tysm for sharing this either way it is much appreciated because it adds to the scope of research for real.

Ibuprofen helps me a ton as well. Wish I could give you an answer. Maybe it’s intracranial pressure? I also wish I could get checked for jugular vein stenosis (I am starting to get suspicious that I might have it). maybe the ibuprofen allows for better drainage, as I think it thins the blood a bit. Also relaxing muscles around the jugular veins.

I suspect it has a lot to do with inflammation rather than that, but i’m always open for how vss could be fixed, I did hear about the jugular vein theory and it sounds interesting, But i’m leaning more towards chronic inflammation that causes vss
Ibuprofen is an anti-inflammatory so i believe it is the helpful component of it

I used to take a lot of ibuprofen on a daily basis for lowering inflammation and I really ended up in a situation where I thought that if I stop taking it; I'll see nothing but static.
I went to stay in Scotland for a while without any and I didn't even notice the difference. Didn't take it again.

So did it affect your static or no?

I thought it did while I was on it, but I think it didn't have much impact, maybe very slight - but definitely not enough to be worth dosing up every day.

Your static didn’t go back after it wore off?
