Aint no way 😂 t mobile is already in this game and has launched dozens of satellites. This is going to fall flat on it’s face given time.

If you do your research, they don’t have the technology we do. It’s comparison is Night and Day.

You’re right it seems like v2mini d2c has like 20-40beams and they’re 40km and ast has half the beam diameter and double the bandwidth but starlink/tmobile is launching 800 and can easily do that in a matter of months. Meanwhile ast hasn’t launched anything but a test article. It will be interesting thats for sure.

and Starlink has FCC approval to launch 800 d2c sats does it? No I didn't think so, it's not launching anything...

Has Starlink gone begging to the FFC for a waiver because their d2c sats don't meet the background noise/interference levels. Yes it has.

Do AST's sats meet requirements and have approval already. Yes they do.

Has Omnispace, EchoStar, Radio Astronomers, AT&T, Verizon, and AST Spacemobile all commented against allowing the waiver. Yes they have.

Will Starlink likely have to reduce their power levels to meet requirements if they ever get a waiver. Yes they will.

Will AST's technology therefore be streets ahead any many times superior to Starlinks, yes it will, oh yes.

How long will it take T-Mobile to ditch Starlink and come begging to AST. Not long in my estimation.
