If you define "smart investor" as "someone with advance knowledge of what the hell Trump is gonna do next, and whether he will actually DO what he says or walk it back immediately", sure.

aka a republican congress member

There's not a soul in the GOP who knows what Trump will do tomorrow, he himself must not know when he goes to sleep. What the initial comment implies is basically a way to assume there is just no smart investor at all...

I don't know about the all-caps posts on his own social media, but his tweets usually started at 3 AM when he couldn't sleep anymore and started brainfarting all over the internet. That's how stuff like covfefe happened.

How sad is it that everybody got over covfefe and forgot about it that easy

There's not a soul in the GOP who knows what Trump will do tomorrow, he himself must not know when he goes to sleep.

I'm forced to listen to Fox fairly regularly because of reasons, and it's been a little fun listening to them flip flop on whether ukraine bad or ukraine good on a biweekly basis because they're trying to be a trump mouthpiece but he keeps changing his opinion so often

How can anyone make trades based on prediction here when it's all pure chaos? The wider market is more slot machine than ever.

Nancy Pelosi says Hello

Right, because all democratic politicians are normal/fair investors? Pelosi ring a bell?

Luckily none of them are in power, right?

Or does that blow apart your argument?

The best part is that NOBODY in the GOP is innocent and you can point to maybe 10 in the DNC that are ARGUABLY insider trading.

Meanwhile, the dumpster is literally rug pulling his voters with his own shitcoin.

I think they both suck. I'm more libertarian tbh.

Well at least we agree on that.

I'm not a libertarian because I don't believe corporations give a damn about me, but our government is complete shit.

at this point, just throw random crazy ideas together. A random one I had just now was that employers will be forced to offer their employees an option to be paid in cash or crypto. Absolutely nothing to back that up with but lets be real, betting on stupid random crazy shit seems to be a more viable strategy these days.

Tbh I doubt even Trump knows what he is going to do next.

The smart investor is the person with inside knowledge.

u/ThorgiTheCorgi Mar 04 '25

Don't forget millions in liquid capital to take advantage of said knowledge!

I have a reliable ex-KGB source for this
